DNB stands for “Diplomate of National Board” and is an Indian postgraduate medical education campaign. It is approved by the Medical Council of India and is equivalent to a Master’s degree in medicine (MCI).
A candidate must have obtained their MBBS degree and a one-year rotatory internship to be eligible for the DNB course. The DNB degree is available in a wide range of specialties, including general medicine, surgery, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, and many others.
The DNB program is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), which is an autonomous organization established by the Government of India. The course lasts three years and includes both theoretical and practical instruction. The DNB program includes both classroom training and clinical expertise.
